Wellness at ΢ÃÜȦ
MU4U: Well-being at ΢ÃÜȦ goes far beyond physical health.
Our approach recognizes that wellness has many dimensions—emotional, financial, physical, occupational, spiritual, environmental, social, and intellectual—and each plays an important role in helping our community thrive. Being well means feeling energized, finding meaning and purpose in your daily life, and engaging with a sense of social responsibility.
At ΢ÃÜȦ, we are dedicated to fostering a campus environment where every student, faculty, and staff member can thrive. Through programs, resources, and campus-wide initiatives, we aim to support your well-being in every dimension.

Mission
The Wellness Committee is a university-wide initiative comprised of numerous campus offices and organizations. Our goal is to develop an inclusive culture of well-being and human development for the ΢ÃÜȦ community.
At ΢ÃÜȦ, Your Health Is a Priority
At ΢ÃÜȦ, we prioritize the holistic well-being of our students, addressing physical, mental, emotional, financial, environmental, occupational, and social aspects of their lives. Our programming in these areas is designed to foster a supportive campus environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
By building healthy habits, making value-based decisions, and seeking out resources, students can enhance their overall wellness by focusing on key areas such as sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress management, healthy relationships, and social connection. Taking care of yourself is extremely important, especially as a college student. College can be exciting, with new friends, fun activities, and lots to learn. But it can also be stressful, with homework, late nights, and busy schedules. Taking care of your health might not seem like a top priority, but it’s important to feel your best and do well in class.
Campus wellness group initiatives include yoga classes, meditation, monthly visits from Therapy Dogs United, an interactive wellness fair, educational health and wellness speakers, hands-only CPR training, and various healthy campus campaigns. Â
Wellness Wheel
There are many dimensions of wellness that extend far beyond physical health. We seek to include all dimensions of wellness—including emotional, financial, physical, occupational, spiritual, environmental, social, and intellectual—in our culture of well-being. To be well is to have a zest for life, a sense of meaning and purpose, and a sense of social responsibility. ΢ÃÜȦ’s Wellness Leadership Council strives to promote these values for all members of our campus community.
